My goal in establishing this blog is twofold:
First, here I will relate something of my journey from New York City to Asheville, North Carolina, and the story of the shift from working in education and politics to selling furniture, pottery and other beautiful arts and crafts works online.Secondly, the individual histories of the furniture, pottery and other works of art offered for sale through my Arts Crafts website will be told.
Additionally, occasional information about my home building, developing and restoration project at Blue Ridge Arts and Crafts Homes (the greenest project of its kind in the state!) will be presented. I hope very much to keep this as a friendly hopeful place, full of interesting stories and beautiful things.
